Students who were exposed to someone who has told them they have the flu or who
are experiencing flu-like symptoms should maintain their distance from other individuals and
call University Health Services at (609) 258-3141 for medical advice. It is especially
important that students with pre-existing medical conditions (i.e. pregnant women, adults with
chronic medical conditions such as asthma or diabetes, or individuals with immunosuppression)
immediately call UHS because they may be at serious risk for complications from flu.
Students with flu-like symptoms should immediately call 911 [or (609) 258-3333
if you are using a cell phone] if you also start to experience any of the following symptoms:
Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath; pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen; sudden
